YEAR 7 AND 8 STEAM

The Year 7&8 STEAM classes headed to Puffing Billy for an interactive workshop at Lakeside Visitor Centre, after an enjoyable (yet cold) journey from Belgrave on the train. 

Students joined Puffing Billy Education Officers to explore ideas and share innovations about Design and Technology systems of the railway, energy sources, engineering systems, materials, components and tools, innovation, measurement, geometry, statistics and probability. They then visited the Menzies Creek Museum to explore the old steam engines, communication and signalling systems.
