Humanities Student of the Fortnight

Here at St Joseph’s College, we love to celebrate the awesome achievements and growth of our students and our Humanities faculty would like to showcase some individuals who are currently starring in their subjects.

This fortnight's Humanities superstar focus is on Year 8 Geography student, Annabelle Turner.

Here is what Annabelle had to say about why she loves Geography!

What do you enjoy most about Geography?

How it explains about the world, how the world works and how it is connected such as in tectonic plates.

What is something interesting you learned this term?

How different natural disasters are formed and how they can trigger each other.

How do you prepare and study for your assessments?

I write notes in class ad then before tests, I read through them and get my family to ask me questions about what I've learned.

Would you recommend other students choose Geography as a subject?

Yes! It's a very useful skill to learn.
