Meet the new Librarian 

Hello ECSC community, my name is Trish Bennett and I am the new Librarian. I have lived in this wide and diverse community for over 14 years and have been involved in a number of different local programs.

My passion is finding books that students enjoy reading and getting stuck in it. I am so excited to be joining this school community at ECSC and cant wait to meet you and assist you all in finding books that speak to you.

Since commencing at the start of term I have been learning about what books we currently have on the shelves and looking at where we can have more available topics. I will be sending out a survey to ask students for their input in what we need to improve on in the selection that is currently available in the library.

Some of you will receive an email from me just confirming that you still have books that are borrowed out in your name your possession.

I look forward to meeting you all when we return to onsite learning.

What been happening in the Library?

While you all are remote learning from home I am too. I have been busy learning how to use Accessit and getting books ready for when you return to school. I am starting to plan for 2021 and would like your input into what books you would like to see in the library but also available on our e-platform too. 

You will all receive an email from me to the link of the survey that I would really like you to respond to.

Books out!

I have been busy sending out emails to students who still have books on loan. If you could please reply to my email I would appreciate it. House points will be awarded to students who return all their books.
