PFA  News

In need of more bakers and sausage flippers for election day!

We still have several gaps on our roster for helpers at this weekend’s election day bbq and cake stall.  If you can spare some time on Saturday to help, and/or bake something to donate to the cake stall, please put your name down at https://signup.com/go/wHReUqz.

Mangoes arriving next Tuesday (29th November)

If you ordered mangoes, these will be available from collection from the school hall next Tuesday afternoon between 3 - 4pm.

We have a very small number of extra trays available to order in Qkr now, whilst stocks remain.

December Delights - Cherries and Tarts

We are excited to confirm that we will have more delicious treats available for you to enjoy in December - all while supporting the school's fundraising efforts!  Details below - orders now open in Qkr, and will close on Weds 7th December.  Remember to ask family and friends if they would like you to order some for them too.  Thank you for your support.

Cherries

We have partnered with Victorian cherry producer Bonfire Station to bring delicious December cherries from the Cathedral Ranges to Carnegie!

There are two options available:

  • 2kg clamshell punnet of A grade cherries
  • 2kg gift box of premium hand selected cherries

Both options will contain large, fresh and super tasty fruit!

Cherries will be available for collection from school on Thursday 15th December.

Tarts

Carnegie Bakers Delight is generously assisting the PFA again in our fundraising efforts.

They will donate $2.00 per 6 pack of Lemon Tarts or Fruit Mince Tarts purchased by CPS families in this special fundraising offer.

Tarts will be available for collection from school on Thursday 15th December.

Sushi discount offer reminder

Thank you for your support of PFA sushi days this year.  They will be back in 2023.

Thanks also to local Carnegie business owner Ming, from the Carnegie Central (Koornang Rd) Woolworths Sushi section.

Remember - visit Chef Ming on weekdays during term 4 and show the newsletter or Qkr! app to let him know you are a CPS family (or staff member) to enjoy $5 chicken, tuna and vegetarian twin pack handrolls, as well as 20% discounts on all ten piece medium rolls.

Icypole Fridays

There are two more Icypole Fridays scheduled for this term - on December 2nd and 16th.

Please send $1 with your child on these days if they would like to buy an icypole.  Students in Prep, Grade 1 or Grade 2 should give their money to their teachers in the morning.  Students in Grades 3 - 6 can come to the Hall after the second lunch bell to buy their icypole.

If you can help out with Icypole Friday from time to time, please pop your name down at https://signup.com/go/wHReUqz.
