Reminders

Remembrance Day

Today on Remembrance Day, we commemorate the loss of Australian lives from all wars and conflicts.

As a mark of respect to those who have died and suffered, Australians are encouraged to pause at 11am to observe one minute’s silence and remember those who died or suffered for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie,

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

School drop-off zone - important message

There have been some safety issues recently regarding the parent drop off/pick up zone. We ask parents that if the drop off zone is full, to please circle the block to prevent holding up traffic in Church St - this has been a safety risk for the student crossing. We also ask that parents move down to the end of the drop off/pick up zone so that other vehicles may enter. We thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
