Lead To Sustain

On Friday the 21st of October, a group of Year 9 students partook in Manningham Council’s Lead to Sustain 2022. They ran workshops for local primary school students around ways to better help the environment with the waste that we throw out.

MyCity Excursion 

Melbourne Cricket Ground Tour

In week 7, a class of our year 9 MyCity students had an enjoyable day out touring the MCG. Students took public transport into the city with staff and were given an hour-long tour of public and ‘members-only’ areas of the MCG by a volunteer from the Melbourne Cricket Club. Students asked questions and were told interesting facts about the history and use of the MCG, including during WWII! Students then got lunch at Melbourne Central before taking public transport back to DSC. All students conducted themselves well throughout the day and were great representatives of the school.
