After Secondary School

It has come to the time of year, where the last days of school are looming and thoughts are focused on what life after secondary school holds. The options are many and it is probably a good time to explore those options. Further study, at university or tafe, a trade or apprenticeship, entering the workforce or it might be the year that the world opens up after COVID and a Gap year might be something you are thinking of. Volunteering is also a good option if you have not made up your mind, or are thinking of taking a break. Volunteering offers many benefits like gaining skills and experience in an area of interest, the opportunity to meet new people, create professional networks, participate in hobbies and passions, without a cost. Then there is the good feeling of making a difference and giving back to the community, or the while of experiencing all those mentioned benefits.

When leaving school there are some agencies and services that may be of use, where information can be accessed to assist you with your searches or support with your plans.
