Carroll Day

On Friday 12 March we celebrated Carroll House day.

Carroll Day this year commenced at recess with Year 12 Carroll House students selling 200 Brownies and cans of soft drink as a part of their fundraising activities.

Mater Dei’s Got Talent was again a huge success, congratulations to the winners and to all who participated.

After lunch was the annual Mater Dei’s Got Talent show. This year did not disappoint with some unique acts which included the fitness ball challenge, the rubix cube and Just Dance routines. The acts also included some incredible talent through our singers and pianists.

This year 1st place went to Max Schneider playing the piano and singing, 2nd place to The Fire Choir which included Year 12 boys dancing and 3rd place went to Olivia Mills who also sang for us.

Thank you to all the participants who performed in the show and well done on a fantastic effort to get up on stage.

Thank you to the businesses who donated the prizes; Allison Music, Forum 6, Wagga Bowl, Wendy’s ice cream, McDonalds and the Mater Dei Catering Department.

A big thank you to the Carroll House staff and students for their support and the Mater Dei community for helping to raise $600 for Catholic Mission.
