Course Changes

Some students have made enquiries about the possibility of subject changes. These have mainly been in relation to the Friday optional extra day for Year 11 and 12 students and to do with Trade and Farm Focus students. 

These requests are being reviewed and determined if they can be accommodated, in addition to providing the students outcome and career directions/intentions. Parents/guardians will be contacted as required to discuss their child’s request. 

Please be aware some changes will not be able to occur given the capacity available in some of the classes. The last date to change pathway from ATAR to General for Year 11 and 12 students is Friday 19th March. If parents/guardians have any queries in relation to their childs' pathway or subjects, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss or make an appointment. 

Absences from school

When students are submitting leave via Reach and indicating an ‘appointment’, please include details. Parents /guardians may be required to provide further details and/or proof of the appointment when requested to enable the absence to be recorded correctly according to the Department of Education Policy and Procedures. 

Please do not hesitate to contact the College to seek clarification and discuss your child’s absences.

A reminder that the OLNA commences on Tuesday 2nd March. Please refer to the attached schedule and information for details.
