Use of Two-Minute Parking Zones – Male & Wilson Streets

The two-minute parking zones located in Male and Wilson Street operate as a safe place to drop off and pick up children from school. Please help us to keep our streets safe, by not causing congestion in these areas. Two-Minute Zone Guidelines:

  • The two-minute zones operates on school days between 8.00am-9.15am and 3.00pm-4.00pm
  • Parents are not permitted to park (or double park) and leave their car in the two-minute zone
  • Parents who plan to walk their children to the school gates must park in a legal car spot in surrounding streets
  • We ask families to please be considerate and not overstay your time in the two-minute zone.  If your child is not there for collection at the end of the day please drive off and re-join the queue
  • The Bayside City Council By-laws Officers visit our school on a regular basis and issue fines to those who do not comply with these regulations. We also encourage all families to contact Bayside Council if you have a traffic complaint on 9599 4444.

These two-minute zones are for the convenience of our whole school population – we ask parents to be considerate of others when you use this facility.  Thank you for your understanding and assistance to keep the streets safe, and uncongested for our students.

Policy Review and Updates

The following two policies were reviewed by our school nurse as per annual policy requirements:

Please note there were no changes necessary.

In line with DET requirements, the school has created a Personal Mobile Devices and Phones Policy. In summary, this policy outlines the process the school uses to ensure Personal Mobile Devices and Phones are stored securely during the day to minimise distractions to learning.

School council ratified these policies at the June 17th meeting.
