Parents & Friends Community

PFC President: Danielle Johnston

Dear parents and friends,

This is our final newsletter of the semester so we’ll keep it short and informative.

School Book Drive

As we’ve mentioned before, in order to support the school's initiative of introducing Classroom Libraries the PFC will work with the school to coordinate a Book Drive to be run in Term 3.  With the school holidays almost upon us we thought it would be a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, friends and kids to check their book shelves and cupboards for all the books they have read and no longer need.  We are after fiction and non-fiction, the broader the range the better.  Comic books, nature books, sports books all welcome.  More information on Compass will follow regarding collections, etc., in Term 3. Thanks to Jan Browne and Meredith Overbury for volunteering to run this.

Entertainment Books

Did you know that your purchase of an Entertainment Membership contributes to our School? Help us achieve our fundraising goal by sharing this link with your friends and family. And, as a bonus, you’ll receive *2 months extra Membership if you purchase and activate a Single City ($69.99) or Multi City membership, between 22 May and 13 July 2020. From time of purchase, an Activation Code must be activated within three months. If activated within three months, the Membership will expire 14 months from the Activation Date. If not activated within three months, the Membership will expire 17 months from the purchase date.

Thanks for your support and have a good mid-year break. Hopefully, in the second semester, we’ll be able to re-start our community-building initiatives and events and see more of each other!

Best,

Danielle Johnston, on behalf of the PFC committee
