Shine the Light Social Justice Day

On the last day of Term Two, 26th June, we are having a Pyjama Day. Many of you may have been wearing pyjamas during remote learning, but with a gold coin donation and wearing pyjamas to schoolwe will be raising awareness for homelessness. Usually at this time of year St Vincent De Paul run The Big Sleep Out, where people experience sleeping outside at night. Students have the opportunity to raise much-needed funds to support people doing it tough within their local community. There will be liturgy presentation shared with the classes across the school and activities organised by the Social Justice Captains on the day.

St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

It has been quite an usual year so far, however St Agnes are going to be collecting for the St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal. Donations of non-perishable food such as pasta & sauces, breakfast cereals, long life milk, soups, tea, coffee and biscuits are appreciated. These all go to families/singles in the local area. Please NO tins of lentils, beans, spaghetti, corn or spam. Donations can be sent to the office with the students, where there are buckets to place the donations. We are aware that this is very late notice, so any donations are really appreciated. All donations will be collected on the 26th of June.
