Bookings can now be made for Term Two Holiday Care, which will run from Monday 6 July to Friday 17 July.

Attached below is the program and booking form, which must be returned to the College Office by Monday 22 June.  To ensure adequate staffing of our program, bookings must be made.  Please note that we may not be able to accommodate children who arrive at Holiday Care without a booking in place.

A key step in the transition process for Year 10 students to GYC has been the huge Pathways Expo at the Glenorchy Campus.  Year 10 and 11 students have gathered for the opportunity to meet our teachers and discuss the wide variety of courses on offer. Sadly, as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, the Pathway Expo will not take place this year, and has been replaced by a series of new and exciting Online Webinars during the final two weeks of Term Two.

Introductory Webinars

On Tuesday 23 June 6pm and Thursday 25 June 6pm – parents and students can learn about course loads, TCE, post-Year 12 pathways and more.

Subject Webinars

The following week, Monday 29 June to Thursday 2 July, subject webinars will provide an ideal platform for students and parents to discover more information about the 120+ course offerings, at GYC to assist with making informed course selections. Each webinar is timetabled for a live presentation hosted by our teachers, with Q&A offered at the end of each webinar.

Each webinar is recorded so students and parents that miss the live presentation will be able to access the recording on the College website.

A full timetable of the webinars will shortly be available on the GYC website as well as step-by-step instructions on how to access them.
