Intro Orchestra - Opportunity!

Our Year Seven students began learning a woodwind or brass instrument during Term One. They were enthusiastic and many were making good progress in the short time they were allowed to play before COVID-19 restrictions came into place. 

To allow them to continue the experience of learning one of these instruments, we will be starting up the Intro Orchestra this week.

Who: Anyone interested in learning a wind or brass instrument in a small group environment. Year 7 students will get preference if there are not enough instruments to go around. 

Cost: FREE!

Instrument: Your daughter can keep the instrument for the remainder of the year while she is in the Intro Orchestra. No sharing of instruments. No hire cost.

When and where: Starting on Wednesday 24 June and every Wednesday afternoon during term time. Commencing at 3.30pm and running until 4.30pm in the Drama Room.

House Events

Preparations are being made for the resumption of House events in the Artistic field.

House Band will be held in the middle of Term Three after a successful inaugural concert last year. House Drama will be later in Term Three. This will be led by our senior Drama students, and all students in Years 7-10 will have the chance to participate in their House production. 

We look forward to seeing our students come together to put together some great performances and fan the flames of their House spirit!
