Around the School 

Our Primary School Captains for 2019 were announced at Guyra Central Schools ‘Celebration Day’ Assembly which was held on Friday 14th December 2018, Auk ustino Alefosio and Sophie Mitchell will join Braydon Cameron and Bronte Stanley as Guyra Central Schools Captains for 2019. Respectively, Guyra Central School would like to recognise our outgoing 2018 Captains; Hunter Davidson, Alice Stanley, Oscar Atkin and Jada Alefosio for their hard work and leadership they each brought to their roles throughout 2018.

On Tuesday 17th December 2018, Year 6 students and staff celebrated the end of our 2018 Year 6 students  Primary education at the Guyra Bowling and Recreation Club with our traditional ‘Year 6 Farewell Dinner’.  On behalf of the Year 6 student body, Guyra Central School would like to thank Donna’s Bistro and the Guyra Bowling and Recreation Club, Mr Stephen Alletsee, Mrs Trisha MciIwain, Mrs Justine Eddy, Mrs Jo Dullaway, Mrs Louise Dowden, Mrs Kylie Atkin and all the parents who assisted who assisted in making their night of celebration possible.
