NMPS at the Ascot Vale District Cross Country

On what was a lovely sunny day last Friday, 35 students from Years 3-6 represented NMPS at the Ascot Vale District Cross Country event. All of our students competed with excellent endeavour and pushed themselves to the limit as they ran numerous kilometres on a hilly and demanding track. Well done to all students who participated and gave their best efforts.

Further congratulations must be given to the following students, who placed in the top 10 for their event. These students have progressed through to the Division event held on the 5th June.

We also had numerous students finish in the top 15, winning a spot on the emergency list for the Divisional event and earning extra points for NMPS in the schools competition. Overall, we placed 2nd in the Big Schools competition. What a great effort!!
