MUSIC NEWS

AFTERNOON TEA CONCERT

On Tuesday 20th March the Music Department hosted their annual concert for the Community.

The concert was a huge success and was well attended by residence from the Shepparton Villages, Moyola in Tatura, Mercy Place in Shepparton, Rotarians, St Mary’s Primary, Mooroopna Primary, Frank Pullar Children’s Centre and the general public.

The concert started with a tribute to Michael Jackson and covered various artists to appeal to young and mature audience members alike.

A Devonshire Tea was provided after the concert which is always a great time to chat and catch up with the devoted music goers.

Congratulations to all the young MSC musicians who performed in the concert. With such a short term and interruptions to rehearsals you were able to put on a terrific show. Thank you to Jenette Smith for making all the scones, Sam Jefferis for her assistance in preparing the platters of scones, Bailey Gall and James Eldred for being the Sound Engineers, the year 7 students for ushering

And of course a big thank you to our music staff Leona Gibbs, Will lees, Matt Jefferis and Nicole Thorne.

END OF TERM CONCERT

The families of our musicians got the chance to attend an evening concert on that same day . It was a Big day but so rewarding. Well done to all.
