Music Photo Day

Please note that all ensemble photos will be taken on Tuesday 13 August in Roncalli Hall and Osborne Room. Students are asked to attend their venues 15 minutes before their allocated time for organisation. All students are to wear full Winter uniform (Secondary) or College uniform (Primary) and bring their instruments (as applicable).

Jazz Night at the Ellington

John XXIII College's annual Jazz Night at the Ellington will be held on the night of Monday 19 August. Always one of the most popular concerts at the College, the night will feature performances by the Swing Band, Senior Voices, Barbershop, Saxophone Ensembles and selected ATAR soloists and ensembles. Tickets are always in high demand for this concert and are available via the following link: .


Students performing are required to arrive at 5:30pm, in uniform, ready to set up and soundcheck. Doors open to the public at 6:30, for a 7:00pm concert.


For parents and guests in attendance, the Ellington is a fully licensed venue. We look forward to a fabulous night of entertainment and look forward to seeing you there!

Performance Uniform Sizing

Trousers for Performance Uniforms are now ready to be sized, for any students who have not yet done so. Please visit Ms Gratton in the Music Office early next week.

Catholic Performing Arts

Congratulations to Nicholas Skerratt, Jonathon Rintoul and Bianca Petsos for being awarded Certificates of Merit in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival and, to Jennifer Ong for a Certificate of Excellence. Well done!

St George’s Cathedral

Great performances by our Chamber Choir, Senior Clarinet Ensemble, Senior Flute Ensemble, Senior Voices, Senior String Quintet and Barbershop – alongside selected soloists at the beautiful St George’s Cathedral.
