SCSA Inter School Swimming Carnival Champions

Thursday March 15th marked the annual SCSA Inter School Swimming Carnival, held at MSAC. Armed with a team of strong swimmers, MSJ bought their A-game and competed to the best of their ability. This spirit and drive led to an excellent array of results.

Of all school swim teams, our Senior squad placed 3rd; Junior squad placed 2nd; and (with the highest score of the night) the Intermediate team placed 1st.

As a collective, MSJ achieved the highest aggregate score (inclusive of all year levels), resulting in being awarded the title of Division 2 Champions.

The night was filled with loads of support and encouragement from every MSJ swimmer- helping to pull off the big win!

A huge thank you to Sue, as well as all teachers, coaches, parents and competitors who made this night possible.

2018 swimming was definitely a huge success!

Indoor Cricket

On Tuesday 6 March, MSJ participated in the SCSA indoor cricket competition. The MSJ Intermediates age group did extremely well and kept improving and winning each game. Being undefeated the whole day we secured ourselves a place in the finals. Winning the first final, inters went to play in the grand final. The grand final ended extremely well for the inters with an end result of 64 to -2 taking home a win for MSJ. We would like to thank our coach Mr Piazza for putting up with us for the whole day and to Ms Baka and Sue who coached the Senior and Junior teams respectively on the day.
