The STEAM Report

Term 3 in STEAM - Science discovery and science week!

Term 3 at AHPS will have all communities engaging in the scientific method of E5 - the use of Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate. Argus will be boosting their vocabulary in explaining the weather around them, Xenica are investigating living things through and their requirements (which coincides perfectly with their Inquiry work this term). Achilles are making observations and predictions around energy  in the form of heat, and Ulysses are being curiously creative in deciding whether changes made to objects are reversible or irreversible.

In Week 5 of this term AHPS will be celebrating National Science Week - which is all about space and getting out there... to other planets, moons, galaxies! Expect to hear more about what students do in this week as we celebrate the importance and progress of sciences in our world :)
