Year 7/8 Basketball

On Wednesday 14th August we had 23 Year 7/8 students travel to Ballarat Sports and Events Centre in Ballarat to compete in a Basketball Competition. It was great to see so many of our students putting their hand up to have a go at a sport they aren’t so familiar with. They showed great courage and sportsmanship on the day and seemed to really enjoy it.

Year 7 Boys:

Game 1- Daylesford 28 Defeated Beaufort 6

Game 2- Mount Clear 22 Defeated Beaufort 2

Game 3- Phoenix 30 Defeated Beaufort 0

Dame 4- Ballarat High School 48 Defeated Beaufort 6

Year 8 Girls:

Game 1- Daylesford 40 Defeated Beaufort 20

Game 2- Phoenix 54 Defeated Beaufort 4

Game 3- Ballarat High School 60 Defeated Beaufort 10

Year 8 Boys:

Game 1- Mount Rowan 28 Defeated Beaufort 4

Game 2- Phoenix 58 Defeated Beaufort 8

Game 3- Daylesford 20 Defeated Beaufort 10
