What's happening in our

learning communities?

Presented by Gabby's Angels

Gabby’s Angels will soon be celebrating their last days in the program! We are all looking forward to next term, when we will become Reception students. Keep an eye out for us in our new school uniforms!

This term Gabby’s Angels has been taking part in a variety of activities. We are learning all about living things and have cultivated some herbs and flowers in the classroom. We learned about the parts of plants, what plants need to survive, and some of the creatures that depend on plants for survival.

We are also learning about how to take care of natural environments and making a start by weeding our little garden, at the back of our classroom. This also allowed us to see some plant roots up close!

We are busy preparing our SALA art projects. We are taking inspiration from the Billy Button plants that we can see in the school gardens and we are in the process of creating some plant sculptures. Here we are painting our terracotta pots, ready to hold our beautiful creations!

What a wonderful semester it has been! Congratulations to all the students at Gabby’s Angels, who have put in so much effort, and shown so much courage, determination and enthusiasm.
