Do you know about REDcycle?

REDcycle has teamed up with Coles, Woolworths and some of Australia’s most-loved brands to make it easy for you to keep your plastic bags and soft plastic packaging out of landfill.

They convert REDcycle material into a range of recycled products including indoor and outdoor furniture, bollards, signage and recycled asphalt additive for road infrastructure.

See, it IS like magic!

Soft (flexible) plastics are generally defined as plastics that can be scrunched into a ball, unlike 'rigid' plastics such as bottles and tubs, which are moulded and hold their shape. Rigid plastics can go into your recycling bin.

Tip 1 : Keep your soft plastics away from your garbage bin and recycling bin!

Tip 2 : It’s good to have a bag hanging up somewhere convenient where you can place your soft plastics, forming a habit and a separate collection.
