100 Days of Foundation
FOUNDATION 100 DAYS
Last week the Foundation students celebrated 100 Days of school. Even though more than half of those 100 Days have been learning remotely, the students still showed their enthusiasm and creativity when celebrating! Throughout the week, students participated in activities based around the idea of '100'. This included reflecting on their time at school, what they found to be challenging and what they have learnt. Students also did some mathematical thinking and estimating when measuring 100 drops of water! They also estimated how many times would we need to roll a dice to reach 100! Students also read about a class that celebrated their 100 Days by collecting 100 of 'something'. Some students collected beads, groups of 10 lego blocks or cut out tiny pieces of paper! On Friday we finished with a class celebration on Webex. Each student had made a special crown and we danced, paraded our hats, played games and ate fairy bread!
It was a great week!
