Beaumaris Secondary College is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all its students, including LGBTIQ+ students. As a school, we aim to equip our students to lead healthy and productive lives, to not only achieve academically but also to be happy, healthy and resilient.
Wear it Purple Day was on Friday the 28th of August, 2020. This year, students celebrated with a Wear it Purple Day themed quiz in GOAL. This celebration shows LGBTIQ+ young people that they have the right to be proud of who they are. It is about creating safe spaces in schools, universities, workplaces and public spaces to show LGBTIQ+ young people that they are seen and supported.
