Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

WORKING BEE SUCCESS!

Thank you to all of our amazing families, students and staff who volunteered their valuable time to for our second school community working bee on Saturday 6th August form 9am – 12pm.

Organised by our great FOM (parent) volunteers, we were lucky the weather held out so we could have an extremely productive day. We finished off with a BBQ sausage sizzle and some home made baked treats to thank everyone for their invaluable help in keeping our school looking great! 

Gardens across the school were weeded and tidied, the Pirate ship timber oiled, wooden ramp rebuilt, and timber seats sanded.

BOOK WEEK CELEBRATION

Each year across Australia, the CBCA brings children and books together celebrating CBCA Book Week. During this time schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian children's literature.

We are very excited to be able to celebrate Book Week together this year! On Thursday 25th, we will welcome back our School Book Week Parade. Students are invited to dress up as a book character and participate in this supportive and encouraging display of our love of books! There will be a book voucher prize for best costume in each year level as well as prizes for the best home-made costume and costume based on this year’s theme. 

The theme this year is Dreaming with Eyes Open,

so, let your imagination run wild!

Our parade will commence at 9.05am and we invite parents and carers to join us. We are so looking forward to celebrating together as a community this year! 

ENROL NOW – ENROLMENTS CLOSING SOON FOR 2023! 

We are right in the planning phase for next year and are nearing our capacity in Foundation. ALL enrolments are expected to close on Thursday 6th October or as soon as capacity is reached.

Enrol now to guarantee your child’s place in Foundation for 2023 please submit the enrolment application forms as soon as possible and before the 6th October.
