Detention and Catch up class

Detention Process
Reminder that first detention should be with classroom teachers first not straight to Student Manager.
- Any teacher can place a student in an after school detention.
- Teachers can place students on a lunchtime or after school detention and run these themselves.
- The supervising Student Manager for detention duty completes the roll. Any student who fails to turn up to this detention will be placed in a Principal detention on the Thursday. The Student Manager supervising the detention needs to transfer the student to the Principal detention and complete and hand out the student’s detention notice the next day.
- If a student is absent from the Principal detention the supervising Student Manager needs to email the student’s Student Manager to inform them that they need to organise a Internal Suspension with the Sub School Leader or Assistant Principal.
- The Student Manager is responsible for organising a Internal Suspension on an agreed date with the Sub School Leader or Assistant Principal.
