Start QUT Program – Year 11s

High achieving Year 11 students who are interested in studying university courses early, may wish to learn more about the ‘Start QUT Program’. This is an awesome way to study a ‘unit’ of a course and get a head start on a chosen undergraduate course, or just do it to get a taste of a degree to see if you like it. Once your unit is completed, you can receive advanced standing (some credit) for your studies, putting you ahead of your peers when you start your degree. Attend a free webinar to find out about this program HERE and email kennye@marash.qld.edu.au

Those interested – please carefully consider your current commitments and time availability. This is because you will still be undertaking your normal timetable and load of subjects, and will have to manage time carefully outside of school hours to complete your ‘unit’ for this Start QUT Program.

A wonderful alternative might be to instead look into the holiday program option! There is a 2-week intensive version of Start QUT Program over January, for Year 11s. However, the holiday program only offers STEM related courses. Applications for this are due by 24th of Aug. Find out more information HERE and email Ms Kenny if you are interested ASAP: kennye@marash.qld.edu.au

We can potentially support you undertaking a similar program offered by a different tertiary institution too, as many universities offer this, email Ms Kenny if you have found another program you’d like to discuss: kennye@marash.qld.edu.au
