Deputy Head of College News

Mr Bruce McPhee

Formal Hat Returns

The date for formal hat returns has passed, however, Alinta have informed us that they will still honour replacements up to this Friday.

If you have not returned your son’s hat for a refund, you will not be able to do so after this week.

All boys must still wear a hat when at school.  This is the wide brim blue hat with the College crest.

Blazer Clarification

I have had a number of boys ask the following questions about blazers that I thought I would answer for everyone here:

Q: Will all boys wear the blue shirt with the blazers in Terms 2 and 3?

A: No – only Year 11 and 12s will wear the blue shirt with their blazers.

Q: Do I have to get yellow stripes?  If so, will I have to buy a whole new blazer?

A: No – only boys who want to have yellow stripes can make that change at the moment.  Boys in Year 11 2022 who want stipes added will return their blazer to the shop and they will add the stipes at a cost yet to be decided. This information will be communicated once we know the accurate details.

Q: Can anyone wear a blazer from next year?

A: Yes – any student who wants to wear a blazer may do so from 2023.  It will be compulsory for Years 5, 11 and 12.

A joint letter from the College and Noone will be sent shortly with more information regarding the transition from Alinta to Noone.
