SOCIAL JUSTICE NEWS

On Friday, our Social Justice team joined with the Social Justice teams from St Mary’s and St Brendan’s to attend the St Patrick’s Day Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne. We were in awe of how beautiful the Cathedral was with magnificent stained glass windows and many spires. 

After the Mass all the schools went to the Treasury gardens for lunch. There were bands from Secondary schools playing and other secondary school students organising games.

It was a great day. 

Each year we support Caritas during Lent for our Social Justice Fund Raising.

If every student in our school could donate $1 each, we could provide so many things for those in need. Students, perhaps you could donate $1 from your pocket money or piggy bank, or do a job at home and your family could donate $1/ 

Let’s try to fill all the Caritas boxes in our rooms and help those in need.
