Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church. St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parishes’ ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to thank all parents/guardians/grandparents/uncles/aunties/older siblings for their tremendous effort and support during remote learning. Our students have shown great resilience over the past two years and continue to impress me with their positive attitude. Especially our Grade 6 students who have unfortunately had three school camps cancelled due to lockdown restrictions.

During times of stress and difficulty, its important to focus on the positive aspects of life. The prayer below was written by primary school students in New South Wales. I found it highly inspiring and highly relevant to current days events.

We also keep Ms Nagel in our thoughts and prayers as she recovers.

Have a wonderful weekend. I'm going to enjoy watching finals football, reading and embracing my 2 hours of exercise per day.

Kind regards,

James Gow

Acting Principal
