Rowville Summer Sports

As of today, the following scheduled sporting event will be postponed:

Rowville District Summer Sports: Friday 27th August

The District school sport coordinators are currently working on alternate options and dates.

Junior and Senior Hoop Time Basketball Competition

We appreciate all the support and encouragement of your child participating in the Junior and Senior Hoop Time Basketball competitions. Their enthusiasm to be part of this sport is commendable. Due to the uncertainty of restrictions, it has become increasingly difficult for organisers and schools to find a future date that caters for the high volume of teams. The uncertainty of a future date has led to a possible open day competition later in the year but this still has not been confirmed.

Until our school receives confirmation of this going ahead, we will be refunding all parents the cost of the competition for both Junior and Senior Hoop Time competitions.

The refund in cash will be put into your child’s classroom office tub and given back to your child on return to onsite learning.

SSV Virtual Cross Country for 2021

Built on the success of the 2020 Virtual Cross Country event, SSV is delighted to provide this great opportunity again in 2021. Students can run or walk for a new personal best or for fun and fitness. The main aim is for students to get out and give it a go.

Every meter run by a student will earn virtual points for their school. Students will be given the option to submit their performance with their parents permission, but if students wish they can also now have the additional option to not have their performance made public. This would be great if we could have plenty of student participation and even staff.
