Education in Faith encompasses the following areas: Religious Education, Prayer, Liturgy and Sacraments.
LENT
Last week as a school community we celebrated Ash Wednesday Mass. Thank you to all the children, staff and families that attended this special celebration. We also welcomed Father Tho Van Tran who celebrated mass with us.
Throughout the celebration the children reflected on the importance of Ash Wednesday and why as Catholics this is a very special time for us. Throughout the week the children will be unpacking the signs and symbols used during the Lenten season.
As a family, it is important to keep the season of Lent alive in your home. Take the time and opportunity to engage in dialogue with your children as to what does Lent mean to you as a family?
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Dear Parents and Carers,
This year, the Year 3 children will be celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday 23rd of March at 7.00 pm at St Fidelis Church. In preparation for this celebration, the children/parent/s will be given the opportunity to engage in an online Reconciliation Family Faith evening facilitated by Maria Forde. The parent/child workshop will take place this Tuesday the 28th of February at 7.00 pm.
