Wellbeing News 

Hello all, 

This week we had our first meeting for our Student Representative Council! We all introduced ourselves and talked about our likes and interests and what we want to achieve. The group was very energetic about being SRC Leaders and it was a very fun afternoon. 

Our task this week was to introduce ourselves to the community, please find attached some introductions from the team!

Hello, I am Zac, one of the SRCs for 2023.

I like football and cricket.

My goal this year is to make the school a better place. 

What's up people this is Destiny and Nina the S.R.C'S!

Destiny loves football, art and KFC as food.

Nina loves gymnastics, art and apples.

We want to be able to go on all playgrounds.

Hi, my name is Finn and I am one of the S.R.C. for this year. I like playing sports like cricket and soccer. I have a brother and sister called Eva and Louis in Prep. Also, Ailbe, my brother, is School Captain. As a S.R.C. member this year I hope to make this school a safe place to learn.

Hi it's Willow and Georgia, we hope you are having a great day today. I am in 5/6R and Willow is in 1/2HT, we are 2 of the S.R.C members that are working together today. 

Willow likes going to the circus, she also likes swimming and her favourite sport is netball. My favourite things to do are riding motorbikes, playing with my goats and my favourite sport is basketball.

What we are hoping to achieve as S.R.C members this year is to make people happy and to stop all bullying because we really don't think it's necessary. We want this school to be a better place and for everyone to be happy coming to school.

Toby: I like sports. I play basketball, football and cricket. I play for the Somerville Eagles in all these teams.

Raiden likes watching scary movies, kickboxing and drawing.

 What We Aim To Do

Toby’s aim is to stop bullying in our school.

Raiden’s aim is to stop people from being mean. 

Hey yo! Our names are Ellie and Jax.  Jax is in Grade 2 and I'm in Grade 4. We are very happy to be S.R.C members. We are very excited to help make the school better. 

Jax likes basketball and Ellie likes swimming. Jax started basketball 3 years ago in Prep and Ellie started swimming last year.

Ellie’s favourite food is chocolate and Jax’s favourite food is tacos. Ellie sometimes has chocolate for dessert and Jax has tacos sometimes for dinner. 

We think that we need to raise money for cancer. Maybe we could have a big set-up and have cupcakes and icy poles to raise money for the people who have cancer.
