The 2023 Green Team was announced at assembly on Monday.

The team consists of two students from each class and they will help in Brendan’s Garden every second Friday.

Last week, the 2023 Green Team enjoyed their first day in Brendan’s Garden, learning about all the amazing herbs and vegetables that are thriving in the summer heat. They also had fun searching for the hidden pumpkins that have escaped their garden bed and picking cherry tomatoes that taste as sweet as lollies. The students had some hands-on experience planting some vegetable seedlings and now they can’t wait to see the cucumbers, beetroot and lettuce grow. Finally, the team mulched and watered all the garden beds.
