YEARS 7-12 SWIMMING CARNIVAL

The 2023 Year 7-12 Competitors Only Swimming Carnival was held at HBF Stadium on Monday. Well done to all students who competed; it was great to see the enthusiasm and effort of all participants.

There was a high quality display of swimming throughout the day with Sam Carmignani (Year 10 Kimberley) breaking three college records and James Neal (Year 11 Normandy) breaking two. Tadhg Smith (Year 9 Thu Duc) and Samantha Crusan (Year 12 Trinity) also broke a record each. Fletcher Bromwell (Carden) beat the Year 10 butterfly record but was in the same race as Sam Carmignani who improved on the time even further. The new records are listed below:

These students were acknowledged and presented with their trophies at the Whole School Assembly on Thursday.

I would like to thank all the staff and students who assisted with official duties at the Carnival, as well as the competitors for helping the events run smoothly. I would also like to thank the parents/caregivers who came along to support their children.
