MIDDLE SCHOOL ETHICS OLYMPIAD INTERNATIONAL FINAL

Yesterday, our Middle School Ethics team (Luca Traynor - Year 9 Carden, Makayla Grose - Year 8 O'Reilly, Jaime Sadlo - Year 9 Carden, Emmet Kelly - Year 8 Thu Duc and Oliver Budas - Year 9 Normandy) competed via Zoom in the International Middle School Ethics Olympiad Final against the 40 winning teams from India, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and each of the Australian states.

Eight different issues were discussed, such as sharing Netflix accounts with people who don’t live in our household, pay parity for Paralympic and Olympic sports people and environmental ethics.

Our College is very new to this competition but learnt a huge amount along the way and were thrilled to be invited to the International Final after our placing in the initial competition last year. Well done.
