Student Leadership Commissioning Mass

On Thursday, 3 November, our community gathered at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church to formally commission our 2023 Year 12 Student Leadership Team. Fr Gerard, Parish Priest of OLSH celebrated this mass as the new leaders pledged their commitment to College. It was wonderful to celebrate this investiture ceremony together with the parents and families of our leaders.

Our leader's pledge was led by our 2023 College Captain, Yasmeen Janschek:

We, the 2023 Student Leadership Team of Brigidine College, accept the honour and responsibilities bestowed on us by our peers and the staff of the College.
We promise to uphold the rich tradition of this College, to serve others with compassion, courage and friendship and to use our leadership for the good of all.
We declare before the College community that we will undertake our responsibilities with integrity, respect and fairness.
We promise to be true to the Charism of St Brigid, showing courage in our actions and compassion to all.
We commit to upholding the values of this College and working with all as exemplars of Catholic education.
In all things, we pledge to uphold the spirit of Fortiter et Sauviter – with strength and gentleness.

2023 Christmas Appeal

This week, our Regina Mundi House Captains, Charlea Reynolds and Isabella Woods launched the 2023 Christmas Appeal in support of St Vincent de Paul. Donated items are given to our Vinnies Local Chapter which supports the vulnerable and in need within our immediate community.

Earlier this week, House Captains spoke with each Pastoral Care class and outlined the aim of the appeal; to give hope to those in our community this Christmas. Your daughter has been informed of the items her house asked her to donate and these are included below. Keep an eye out on Social Media and Compass for further announcements regarding this appeal.
