As we approach the end of the year a series of activities are currently being organised for girls in Years 7-9 for Week 9. During this week the girls will be engaged in a variety of activities outside of their daily academic and pastoral pursuits.
During this week, Year 10 will engage in a variety of activities encompassing careers talks and study and organisational skills that have been appropriately tailored for senior years as well as completing the mandatory component of “All My Own Work”.
Year 11 will remain in normal timetabled classes.
All groups will conclude their 2022 school year with a Mass and Awards Ceremony (Presentation Day). This is not only an appropriate conclusion to the year but also fitting that we gather with our students as a community to conclude the year.
Upcoming Vaccinations
You will notice in this newsletter that there are notices about upcoming vaccinations here at Brigidine, as well as vaccinations in 2023.
This year South Eastern Sydney Local Health District will attend Brigidine on Friday 25 November for Year 7 students.
Please note that parental consent may be withdrawn at any time. If you wish to withdraw consent for your daughter, please advise the College in writing.
Girls in Year 10 who have missed a vaccination earlier in the year, will be offered a catch-up vaccination on Friday 25 November. Please be advised that consent does NOT expire and continues unless it is expressly withdrawn.

Please see the attached flyer inviting parents to a webinar on vaping.

Uniform
As we approach the end of the year, this is a timely reminder that each student is expected to wear the College uniform proudly. Here at Brigidine, we believe that the wearing of the College uniform gives girls a sense of belonging as well as fostering our identity. It is imperative that parents support the College in promoting a positive image for our school.
