BBQ SAUSAGE FUN LUNCH

What a wonderful way to finish off Term 2 with a Fun Lunch.  Both the Juniors and Seniors enjoyed games of soccer, then as a special treat for first lunch had a sausage in bread, a Krispy Kreme donut and a drink.

Thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who came in this morning to cook and serve.

MJ MOVIE AFTERNOON

MJ was our highest fundraising class for the 2022 Colour Explosion Fun Run, and to thank them for their hard work the parents and friends put on a fun movie afternoon with loaded popcorn trays.

MJ blind voted on their movie and were surprised with Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder). Thank you, MJ students, for your wonderful behaviour - we were very impressed.

A huge thank you to Maddison for assisting in organising permissions and always supporting the Parents and Friends Association.

The Parents and Friends Association is so appreciative of all the fundraising efforts made by our school - we are very lucky to have such a wonderful community.

Keep collecting those empty bread bags

Any brand is accepted

Place them into your house colour boxes in the corridor.

The more bags we can collect the more sport’s equipment our school will receive.

CHIPS & POPCORN SALES

Chips and popcorn are being sold each Friday at first lunch for 50c

Please remember to give your child money if they are allowed to purchase.

We have fallen short on helpers for our chip / popcorn sales on Fridays and we really need some help!

We work on a roster system so you can commit once and month or twice a month the choice is yours.

It’s a great way to meet your child’s friends and they get a real hoot out of seeing mum or dad coming to help.

A Valid WWCC is required and fully vaccinated ( including booster).

If you are interested, please contact Courtney on sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au

We are taking part in the MS Readathon and would love your support.

Something that is required of all volunteers and helpers at SFS is a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

These checks are very easy to apply for, and free for volunteers. We love having parent helpers with all of our Parents and Friends events, and the children love seeing their parents at school.

You can go here

https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/individuals/applicants/how-to-apply

to apply. You will need to fill in your details (we suggest adding St Francis de Sales Primary School in as your volunteer location), supply them with proof of ID and then verify these in person at an Australia Post outlet. At the post office they will take your photo for your WWCC card.

Until your card arrives you will be given a slip from the post office that can be used.Once you have your WWCC complete please ensure you lodge the details with the school through admin@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
