Dear Parents and Carer’s,
Unbelievably we have arrived at Week 9. This term has been a great chance for students to engage in new learning and goal setting opportunities.
Last Friday saw the first rewards lunch for students who had set and achieved their learning goals. There will be more occasions this term and next term for further celebrations of student achievement. Please keep having conversation about goal setting with your children.
Tomorrow we will celebrate Marriage and Family Week with a school and parish Mass commencing at 12:30pm. The theme for this year is “Family love: A vocation and a path to holiness” All are welcome!
Thank you for the considerable turn out at our last PTF meeting. We are well on the way in our organisation of the inaugural Sacred Heart School/Purtle Plevey Clearing Sale. Please share the date and contact details for people wishing to include items for sale on the day. Also if you could please return the parent note that was sent out last week regarding how you can be involved in the day that would be fantastic. Details about the clearing sale and how to enter items will be posted on the school Facebook page, advertised in the green flyer, The Land and local radio.
Just a reminder about ways that you can contact people at the school. If you need to make contact with a teacher or other member of staff please either email them or contact them at school. Please do not contact people using their personal social media or personal email addresses regarding school business.
Also if you are needing to bring anything to your child during the day, please come through the front office first so we are able to keep a register of people who are on-site.
A special mention to Caleb and Dustin who celebrated their 6th birthday on Tuesday. We hope you have a lovely day!
Kindergarten enrolment meetings will be held early in Term 3. If you know of anyone who is looking to enrol for Kindergarten next year, please encourage them to contact me at school so I can include them in meetings next term.
Take care
Kath Baird
