Junior Leadership

The Year Five Leadership Assembly was held on Wednesday afternoon. A leadership poem was shared with the students.

Work for a cause, not applause.

Live life to express, not to impress.

Don’t strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt.

The Year Five leaders were challenged with the notion of being passionate about their leadership journey and being values based in all that they do. The sporting notion of  ‘The more you play for, the better you play’ was offered as food for thought. They were also challenged to ‘leave the Junior School blazer in a better place’ at the end of their leadership journey and that ‘good leaders create leaders’.
