Heritage fan lights set the mood in the main event room at Emulation Hall, Canterbury

Tuition fees 2018

Tuition fees for 2018 were recently approved by School Council  as part of the School’s financial budget.

We are pleased to report that the increase has been kept at close to 3% which we understand is lower than increases at most other independent schools.

Due to the successful intake into our Diploma Programme, tuition fees for Years 11 & 12 are able to be held steady.

OVERDUE FEES   In relation to any overdue fees for 2017, please be aware that a $100 late fee is in the process of being applied.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the Business Manager at bryce.mclean@preshil.vic.edu.au should you wish to discuss this matter.

Booklists

2018 booklists will be distributed to students this week through Home Group. New students to the School will be given theirs in their transition package.

Booklists are also available online through Campion Education and can be accessed here. Once on the Campion website you will need to use the Preshil resource list code: NHJX.

School production sponsors

Artists Noel Crombie (from the 1970/80s band Split Enz) and his wife Sally-Anne Mill (designer of the stunning chandeliers in the Blackhall foyers) – who are also past parents of Preshil – along with friends recently acquired and are restoring Emulation Hall in Canterbury to its former glory.

“We wanted to honour the Hall’s rich history as a gathering place for large numbers of people coming together in celebration.”

Emulation Hall is indeed ideal for celebrations and special events of all kinds. This grand building consists of three versatile spaces: the Main Hall downstairs (seats 250) with a sweeping entry, stage, bridal/green room, brand new commercial kitchen and a pretty garden courtyard adjacent; the Supper Room on the first floor is large and light with original upholstered classic furniture and an impressive timber bar, ideal for cocktail-style functions, and offers universal access via a new lift; the Temple Room is a remarkable space with original Masonic features including stepped floors, timber bench seats and beautiful heritage light fittings. This quietly glamorous space is perfect for ceremonies, awards nights and sit-down dinners for up to 80.

THANK YOU to Noel and Sally-Anne for their assistance and continued support in helping make the 2017 production Unmurdered!  such a fun and successful event.

If you would like to be on the Hall’s mailing list for future public events, please email enquiries@emulationhall.com.au. To book a wedding or event please call Nicole Fraser on 0409 708 042.
