Year 11 Course Selection Interviews
Year 11 students are requested to make individual appointments to meet with a member of the Later Years Team to discuss their program for 2019. Interviews will be scheduled on Tuesday 7th August and students should consider an appropriate time that does not interfere with normal classes. The appointments can be made via the Conferences section on Compass. Those students who have not made an appointment by Wednesday 1st August will have an appointment scheduled for them on Compass and should look to the Conference section to ensure they are aware of their individual time.
Students should bring a copy of the Draft Subject Selections and a copy of the Semester 1 report if any significant changes to the program are being requested.
Year 10 2019 Course Selection
Year 10 students have been investigating possible career options within their Learning Mentor classes this term. Course Selection Interviews have been scheduled for Thursday 9th August. There are no formal Year 10 classes on this day. Many parents have already made appointments through Compass Conferences. If you are unable to attend on the day, your child is still required to attend and we would appreciate if you could make an appointment on your child’s behalf. Those students who have not made an appointment by Friday 3rd August will have an appointment scheduled for them on Compass, and should look to the Conference section to ensure they are aware of their individual time.
Students have been asked to bring the following to the Course Selection Interview:
- Draft Subject Selections
- Career Plan (Plan A, B, C)
- Semester 1 report
- Career Voyager report
These documents will be stored in each students Pathways file for future reference.

University Excursions
All Year 10 have been allocated a pair of universities or TAFEs to visit on Wednesday 1st August. This excursion is now live on Compass. These days provide an important opportunity for students to gather information and explore the many possibilities offered in tertiary studies.
