We See You

As we approach the holidays many of you will be exhausted, and running toward the end of term with open arms. We want to acknowledge that life is certainly not always easy and we are very aware that many of the families within our community are doing it tough. We encourage you to allocate some time these holidays to engage in self-care & connection with those you love. Prioritisation of the basics such as good sleep, nutrition, exercise and connection provides excellent modelling to your kids of keeping healthy and riding out the tough times.

  • For those of you caring for a chronically ill loved one - go gently, we see you.
  • For those of you struggling to support your child to get to school every day - we understand the toll this takes and we see you.
  • For those of you struggling with your own and /or a family members mental health issues - we feel your struggle and see you.
  • For those of you managing grief and loss at the breakdown of a relationship - we see you.
  • For those of you caring for a sick child - we appreciate your heavy load, we see you.
  • For those of you struggling to find work life balance - we see you.
  • For those of you still separated from partners and family members by COVID - we see you.
  • For those of you managing financial hardship, loss of a job and trying to keep it all together - we know you are doing it tough. We see you.
  • For those of you struggling to connect with your teenagers and managing conflict within your homes - we see you.
  • For those of you struggling to set limits and boundaries around screen time - we see you.
  • For those of you feeling overwhelmed with stress - we see you.
  • For those of you struggling with the current media focus on sexual assault - we believe you, we see you.
  • For those of you supporting a child through their HSC year - we see you.

We encourage you to care for each other and reach out if the Counselling Team can be helpful to your family.
