Armidale Diocesan Cross Country

This Friday a strong team of 43 primary students will travel to Barraba to participate in the Armidale Diocesan Cross Country Carnival. Students will be provided with a St Joseph’s Representative uniform tomorrow. I ask that the children wear this to the carnival and then return to school washed early next week. Please meet me at the Barraba Sports Ground (Rugby grounds), 175 Trevallyn Road by 9.30am. Remember to bring your school hat, sunscreen, chairs, food, water and your best cheering voices!

Please find below the timetable for the day. If you would like to view a course map and canteen menu visit the ADPSC website for further information.

Armidale Diocesan Cricket Trials

Schools are invited to send students of a proficient skill level to the Diocesan Cricket Trials in Tamworth on Friday June 4th 2021. A Diocesan team to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Trials in Lismore on Friday 20th August, 2021 will be selected. This is not an opportunity for students to ‘come and try’. Nominations should be from year 6 players and exceptional year 5 players. Students are expected to supply their own cricket equipment for the trials. In school trials may occur, should numbers warrant this.

Please complete the ‘Expression of Interest’ note for these trials, which can be found in the ‘NOTES & FORMS’ section of this newsletter. To print, right click on the page and select ‘print’ then follow the printing prompts. Notes are due by Friday 14th May. NO LATE EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST WILL BE ACCEPTED.
