Applying Applique

Mrs Watson’s sewing class has some great work being produced.

Well done Tessa on your appliqué technique! Looks great!

Powered up!

Each house in the Secondary school has a battery collection bucket. This is an initiative of the Yr 8 Community Option classes as they campaign to make a contribution to saving the environment.

There is a Yr 8 within each house who is the designated "battery rep" and it is their job to collect the contributions of flat batteries. Once a bucket is full, the batteries are taken to an appropriate collection depot.

It appears Naphtali and Benjamin's efforts are a little 'flat', as so far Judah and Reuben have powered ahead with the project!

Great initiative Year 8s!

ANZAC Parade

ANZAC Day on Sunday was without COVID restrictions this year, so staff and students joined in the community parade and ceremony in Busselton.

It is always a beautiful way to show our gratitude and respect for those who have lost their lives in the service of our country, and to thank those who continue to serve in the armed forces today.

Here's an image or two that captured the event beautifully, with more of the full cohort of student participants on the way.

Lest we forget.

Finding his wings!

Dylan is a student in Year 10, who recently has made significant steps towards having his pilot's licence long before he can actually drive.

He recently attended an opportunity to meet with air force personnel at our regional airport, and not long after, took his first flight.

Dylan's aspirations are for a career in the forces, and we are delighted to see him finding his way towards that dream becoming a reality.

Well done Dylan!
