Community Participation - Volunteering

School Council and the Leadership Team have planned for a Community Participation session on Wednesday 9th June between 9.15am and 10.15am.  If you want to know how you can volunteer and get involved, come along for morning tea and meet other parents and carers and learn how you can get involved.

Remember, volunteering not only benefits your child, it helps the classroom, the whole school, and the community by giving students positive interactions, support, and encouragement. To be a volunteer you are required to have a Working with Children’s Card (WWCC). If you would like to find out more, please contact Miranda Ingram or Mark Taylor.

This week our Secondary students began their swimming program with great success, travelling to the Broadmeadows Leisure Centre on Wednesday. The ADVANCE students represented JSA in the Hume Youth Mental Health Summit, our VCAL students engaged in learning about ‘The Story of the Moving Image’ over time at ACMI, and our weekly Secondary elective programs continued to support our school community via the operation of the Cafe and Canteen.
