Year 6 Graduation

Congratulations to the Year 6 students who were presented with the following awards at our Graduation Ceremony on Thursday:

 

Classroom Citizenship Award

  • Consistent worker.
  • Persistent.
  • Shows initiative and willingly puts themselves out for others. 
  • Treats everyone respectfully (SSOs, specialists, classroom teachers, visitors).
  • Upholds the classroom Code of Conduct.

Jim Farrell Principal's  Award - Jim Farrell was the Founding Principal of EHPS. 

  • Articulate, persistent, reliable, open and displays behaviours that stand out in all areas of personal, academic and social endeavour. 
  • Models the school values of honesty, respect, friendliness, inclusiveness and persistence in classrooms, specialist lessons, whole school activities and community involvement. 
  • Has been a significant role model in student leadership and ambassadorial responsibilities.

Personal Development Award

  • Significant and enduring personal, social and academic growth and resilience.
  • Clear and consistent improvement in self-managing learning and social interactions within and out of the classroom.

Emily Schwab Award - Award in memory of former EHPS student, Emily Schwab, who passed away aged 7. 

  • Fostered empathy and demonstrated caring and intrinsic concern for others’ welfare.
  • Demonstrates selfless action towards a range of students within and beyond peer group.

Neighbourhood Watch Award

  • Community minded, displaying kindness and care for the benefit of others.
  • Displays honesty and stands up for what is right. 
  • Reports issues that are unsafe or that pose a risk to others safety. 
  • Takes initiative to support their teacher and classmates.

Sportsmanship Award

  • Been a starter or significant contributor to the school sports team. 
  • Shown leadership and encouraged teammates to be the best they can be.

  • Conveyed a high degree of humility and integrity.

  • Demonstrated self confidence and instils this into others around them. 
  • Uses initiative to organise and lead other students. 
  • Has maintained a high academic standard and contributed an outstanding effort during Music class, ensemble practices and performances within and outside the school community.
