Parents & Friends Club

Wow, what a year! We, the PFC, are absolutely thrilled with the fundraising efforts this year and how our school community has come together to support our school and the children. We’re positive we will all look back on 2022 with so many fond memories and remember how special, important and a privilege it is to be able to attend school, especially a wonderful school like ours. I think we can safely say, that the community spirit is well and truly back, and we plan to keep the momentum going with many exciting events and activities planned for 2023.

Firstly, let’s celebrate and give ourselves a huge pat on the back, cheer and round of applause for our fundraising in 2022 (we'll be able to announce the actual amount at the beginning of next year) - it's been a phenomenal effort!

After the successful fundraising of 2022, we can now confirm an additional $25,000 towards the redevelopment of the Year 1 and 2 playground. Which means we reached our fundraising target and the PFC will contribute a total of $50,000 for this project ($25,000 already contributed from 2020 and 2021 fundraising).

Once again, to all those who contributed, volunteered, donated and attended our events during year, we cannot thank you enough. Please do continue to support the PFC, our events and offer help whenever you can, and even try to recruit some more parents or friend helpers, as we are not able to hold these events without your help and support.

We are excited to announce some of the events we have planned for 2023, including the dates for the PFC meetings, which we’d love to see some more people attend, as we have BIG plans for 2023.

All PFC meetings will be held in the Staff Room at school. 

Planning has already begun for these events, and other events yet to be announced. As always, if you would like to help with any of these events, please reach out to us. And if there are any school families that run or own a business or work for any companies that we can also support by purchasing items from for our events, please contact us. Or maybe a parent or family member is a photographer or entertainer, or even have any contacts of suppliers that could assist with our events, please do let us know. Just a reminder we still have two everyday fundraising opportunities ongoing - Ritchies IGA Supermarkets and Entertainment. Further details below of how to get involved and raise money for our school.

Finally, the PFC would also like to wish the Class of 2022 Year 6 children all the very best for the beginning of their secondary school journey and thank you all very much for  your contribution to the school and PFC events during your time at EHPS.
